Located in Jamestown, California, Railtown 1897 State Historic Park is home to one of America's last authentic,
operating railroad roundhouses. Known as
“The Movie Railroad,” Railtown's locomotives
and cars have appeared in over 200 film and
TV productions, including High Noon, Back to
the Future III, and Petticoat Junction. Tours of
the Historic Jamestown Shops and Roundhouse are available daily.

This year marks the 52nd Annual Mother Lode Round-Up that takes place in the historic town of Sonora. Saturday's parade at 10 am is recognized as the second largest parade in California.
